Dynamic, calm, and down-to-earth, Ana is a multidisciplinary creative strategist with a versatile portfolio. From journalism, the international NGO sector, and the halls of EU institutions to startup management and social media, she safely landed in the creative sector and felt called to found ZEBRAS AND MAGPIES. Best decision ever (except on days filled with administrative tasks).
Her strengths are the written word, creative strategy, photography and photo editing, startup consulting, research, and brand building, although not limited to these. Her weakness is Photoshop, which is why she loves working with Nick—among other things. So, if you want storytelling, go to her. If you change your mind about something in a photo, go to Nick.
NICK
A perfect blend of Swiss Army knife technicality and practical creativity, Nick loves finding a solution even when there isn’t a problem—which often becomes the testing ground for possible innovations. From graphic design to creative solutions, Nick brings an adaptive mind and a willingness to do everything with precision.
With a background in music and songwriting, horticulture, and agroeconomy, he has the ability to adapt to different industries and take the best from each.
His strengths are crafting narratives and copywriting, campaign development and building, graphic design and prepress, Adobe Creative Suite, and photo retouching. His weakness is photography, which is why he loves working with Ana—among other things.
